Abstract

The aim of this research is to clearly determine the influence of work motivation and work discipline on the performance of employees in the Talisayan District Village Head's Office. The type of data in this research is quantitative data using primary data and secondary data obtained from the Talisayan District Village Head Office. The samples taken were answers to questionnaires from respondents. The data analysis method used in this research is questionnaire testing carried out using validity and reliability tests and hypothesis testing is carried out using multiple linear regression tests, t tests, F tests and coefficient of determination. Based on the results of data analysis with the help of the SPSS version 23 program, the t test results show that the work motivation variable has no effect on employee performance, and the work discipline variable has an effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, the results of the F test show that the variables of work motivation and work discipline simultaneously influence employee performance. And the amount of ability (R2) that influences work motivation and work discipline on employee performance is 24.9%, while the remaining 75.1% is influenced by other factors.
